Autobiographical sketch covers 1744-1772 and comprises 32 sheets, inscribed in double columns on both sides, almost all 34 x 42 cm. Diaries include 3 vols., 14-17 cm., which cover: October 29, 1772 to April 29, 1774; January 1, 1778 to January 1, 1779; and May 2, 1794 to June, 1796. Journal comprises 33 sheets of the same size and layout as the sketch, covering October, 1775 to December, 1776; August, 1784 to December, 1787; and sections for parts of May, 1789 to July, 1796. The other papers comprise 53 items, and include correspondence, photographs, copies of military records, etc.
